Clave Escapes is a Colombo escape room studio with one obsession: rooms that feel like walking into a film, not a puzzle sheet.
Our story
We started Clave Escapes because we kept leaving escape rooms talking about the puzzles and never about the story. We wanted rooms where the lore holds up, where every lock, letter and light cue belongs to a world someone actually wrote.
Every Clave room begins as a finished story: a family that vanished, an AI that shouldn’t feel, a case that closed too fast. Only then does it become a set of puzzles. Our game masters run each session live, tuning hints to your team so first-timers finish proud and veterans stay under pressure.
We build everything in Sri Lanka, with local makers, and we design for mixed teams: engineers and dreamers, sceptics and believers, the friend who reads everything and the one who opens every drawer.
The venue
One venue, three rooms, on Nawala Road in Nugegoda. Arrive a little early, settle in at the lobby, and let the briefing pull you under.

Safety & accessibility
- Emergency exits are never locked. You can step out of any room, at any time, for any reason.
- Our rooms are atmospheric, not horror: no actors, no jump scares, nothing touches you.
- A game master watches every session and can speak to the room at any moment.
- Tell us about mobility needs, claustrophobia or anything else when you book. We’ll brief you honestly on what each room involves and adapt where we can.
